It borders the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the south and Kenya’s Maasai Mara to the north, covering roughly 14,750 square kilometres. Each year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and other animals, journey from the Serengeti into the Maasai Mara in search of fresh grazing.
